Somerset, NJ:  The Protec Ducks have announced the hiring of Cassie Weaver as a skating instructor for the hockey program.  Coach Cassie is one of the most sought after skating instructors in the area.  Her focus on edges, balance, and a powerful stride will be an important part of helping our Ducks hockey players compete at a higher level.  Hockey Director Patrick Alvin stated that, “Coach Cassie is one of the best skating coaches in the state and we are excited to have her work with our players.”  She will be a lead coach all season for the Ducks Friday skills session. Excited to take on this new role for the Ducks teams, Cassie followed up by saying “I am looking forward to working with the Ducks players to help enhance their skating skills and am thrilled to be a part of the team!”

Coach Cassie grew up in Bridgewater, NJ and is a graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High Schools class of 2004.

If players are interested in shaking loose the rust in the off season, working on their skating skills, or learning the art of a strong skating stride, Coach Cassie offers private lessons all year.  You can email her to set up a session at:
