May 18th-19th, Marlborough, MA: The Protec Ducks were well represented on the EJEPL All Star team with a league leading 4 participants.  Ducks Forwards Duncan Stewart and Thomas Lagomarsino were instrumental in the offensive effort.  Lagomarsino put in a few goals and was one of the major playmakers on the weekend, while Stewart led the offense in goals and assists.  Zachary Alvin had a solid weekend from the point as well with 2 goals and 7 assists.  Goalie Michael Rosenthal was 3-0 on the weekend and came up big in game three versus the New Hampshire Noreasters with a clutch 2-0 shut out effort.  That game was tied 0-0 with three minutes remaining in the third period when Zachary Alvin hit Duncan Stewart with a long stretch pass.  Stewart buried the game winner as the EJ All Stars cruised to the Spring Fling Championship.  Ducks Coach, and EJ All Star Assistant Coach, Patrick Alvin remarked, “It was great to see the collective talent of the EJ league and it was even more exciting to see how our Protec Ducks were leaders and major contributors this weekend.” Congrats on an excellent weekend of hockey Ducks!
