A big thanks to the New York Rangers and their Junior Ranger program for coming to Protec on April 4th to run free clinics for the local hockey players! Ron Duguay joined the kids on the ice, making sure they were relaxed and having fun playing the game he’s loved for so long. It was a much needed boost for the hockey players, especially around the stressful tryout season!
We look forward to a long and strong relationship with the NYR going forward. A few things ahead: NYR Summer Camp at Protec Ponds, NYR Try Hockey For Free Day, NYR Learn to Play program, and hopefully coming this fall/winter: a new NYR Rookie Series offering an in-house hockey league for youngsters. All out of Protec Ponds.
