Player & Goalie Clinic
Players:
This clinic at the Ponds is designed to develop the player's skills (stick-handling, shooting, edge control, conditioning & more). It will serve as a great muscle-memory builder before the weekend's games. Run by Andy Gojdycz, Vladi & Slava Koureodov along with Protec Staff.

Goalies:
This clinic at the Ponds is designed for the player toreceive the right technical instruction for theposition of the goaltender. Students will work on various important executions of the positioning, angles, rebound control and much more. The lead instructor is George Bosak and his entire staff.

Skating is a good exercise; it helps build muscles, stimulates your heart, and improves coordination and balance. Combined with a healthy diet, skating can be an important part of your fitness plan. In addition to the healthy aspect of the sport, skating is plain fun.

Youth Hockey
Protec Ponds Ice Center in Somerset, NJ is the preferred training center for Central New Jerseys coaches and players alike. A professional coaching staff second to none combined with our training rinks allows us to provide the area’s ice hockey players with unmatched programming geared to player development.
For the beginner/novice player, we offer our 5-Star Hockey School or Developmental League (In-House). For our intermediate and advanced players, we offer our Travel Hockey Program. Finally for our advanced players, after our travel hockey program, we offer our Protec Selects AAA option. In addition to our hockey programs we offer drop-in hockey times as well as our weekly and special school holiday clinics. Whatever your hockey needs, we have it at Protec!

Adult Hockey
For our adult hockey players we offer an Adult 101 program. This introduces the player to new playing concepts and exposes its players to skill progressions, player development and game situations. The goal of the program is to prepare its participants to enter a recreational league. If you are ready for league play, Protec offers our (PTAHL) for the Fall/Winter, Spring & Summer Seasons at a competitive price. For the players who can't commit to an entire season, we offer a tournament each summer (Freddy's Cup).
