Bridge Training Program

The Bridge Training Program is designed to teach skating skills at a fast pace in a group training environment.  It also doubles as a great way to introduce skaters and their families to the world of figure skating.  Participants must be of the Basic 6 skating level and up. This program meets on Saturdays.

Off-Ice Training

Classes are taught by former US World Team Leader GALE PILLA!

Classes are Tuesdays 4:45 -5:15

Off-ice training is a class specially designed for figure skaters.  In the sport of figure skating, a skater must have a strong core in order to complete difficult jumps, spins and edge moves.  Our classes will help participants build specific body muscles in their abdomen, legs, arms, and back through the use of plyometric, exercise balls, Pilates, and other exercises that promote strength and flexibility.

Skaters will also work on the jumps they have learned on the ice in this class. It is very important for skaters to be able to land single, double and even triple jumps off of the ice before they can begin landing them on the ice. Proper Off-Ice jump technique allows a skater to master the skills necessary to complete a jump in a much faster manner than on ice training alone.

Skaters need to wear tight clothing (skating attire is fine) and sneakers for class. Slip on shoes and boots are not permitted.
